96. Roar

She knows more,
He says, “No.”

She knows more,
So he talks more.

She knows more,
He silences her roar.

She knows more,
He won’t think so.

And so it makes her angry,
And so it makes her think
That all she does is for nothing,
And her hopes begin to sink.

But does she give it all up,
Does she throw it in?
No, she gets up fighting,
She wants everyone to win.

77. A love to hope for

I never said it would be easy to love me,
I did say it you’d find it easy to lose me.

This isn’t my apology,
This isn’t me saying I love you,
This isn’t me laying my heart open for you.

Whether you’re coming or going,
Don’t say a word.
It doesn’t matter anymore,
I’m not looking back.
Save your words;
Keep them for another day
For somebody else to hear.
