76. Empty chair

Am I the healer of your heart,
The one who sits across from you
And peeps into your soul?

Am I invisible to you,
As you talk?

I listen to your songs of pain,
Your lies,
Your tears,
Your silence,
Your fears.
I try not to judge,
I truly try my best,
But I’m only human.

Forgive me,
This one last time,
As I listen.
