From a mere trickle of existence,
Comes forth this great ocean of knowledge;
From the depths of my soul,
Comes the recognition of you.
My heart is my fortune,
Your heart is your fortress;
Your wall is impenetrable,
My efforts are faultless.
I could spend my life trying to get through to you,
You could spend your life trying to make me not love you.
