I’m making memories without you,
Filling my mind with thoughts not stained by your presence.
I want to leave you far behind.
You’ve tried to hurt me,
Drop me,
Shake me off;
Too many times.
I now stand at my own crossroads,
I’m making my own steps in the snow.
Watch how far I can go.

Thank you. I wrote this for a friend who finally plucked up the courage to stand up for herself.
